Most people know REI sells gear. But in 2017, most people didn’t think of REI as a robust source of local outings and events. We changed that by redefining the brand as an experience-first presence in key target markets and inviting people to play with us at hundreds of outdoor events throughout the summer. Same voice and design concept. Distinct local flavor. Everyone ALL OUT.

Then we beat sign-up goals by over 300%.
